Dinner with a CXO: Dr. Andrew Cornejo
The Flour Factory
18:00 – 21:00
Our ‘Dinner with a CXO’ series seeks to give you, our young professional members, direct access to some of WA’s top C-Suite executives. This event is limited to 6 attendees in order to maximise each member's access to the CXO.  Our first CXO will be Dr Andrew Cornejo, CTO of Hazer Group. Dr Cornejo is one of the smartest and most innovative leaders in WA at the moment and we are extremely excited for him to be hosting this dinner. What to Expect We’ve booked an exclusive table at an amazing Perth CBD venue where you will enjoy a 3-course dinner with drinks and engage in conversation with Dr Cornejo.  An opportunity not to be wasted, what will you ask him?  Do you want to gain a better understanding of how he invented the Hazer process and how it leads to a more sustainable future?  Or, maybe you want to find out what it’s like to lead an ASX-listed company? Dr Cornejo has broken the mould of your typical engineering pathway. He didn't climb the traditional ladder to get where he is. He created his own pathway.  Who is Dr. Andrew Cornejo? Andrew is Co-founder and Chief Technical Officer of ASX listed company, Hazer Group Ltd. Dr Cornejo invented the Hazer process as part of his Ph.D. studies and has over 6 years of corporate executive experience and 10+ years of technical engineering experience in R&D, advisory, and resource development roles.  Andrew is passionate about the commercialisation of disruptive and sustainable innovation. He was the recipient of the WA Business News “40Under40” City of Perth Strategic Alliance Award in 2019.   Dr Cornejo graduated from the University of Western Australia (UWA), having completed a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with Honours, a Bachelor of Commerce, and a Doctorate of Philosophy (Mechanical and Chemical Engineering). He has also completed a Graduate Certificate in Technology Commercialisation at the Queensland University of Technology.  Find out more about Dr. Cornejo.
